Example: [Wiki-page name for my art@wiki] I can't get the hands right!
2008-11-09 [Hedda]: What would the "finished art page" be? Where we show the last versions of people's drawing? Yes, I think that building such a page, would be nice when we have something to put there.
Advice on critiquing? Do you think anyone will comment if they have to read through 4711 "do":s and "don't":s first? I think it will scare people away, and the ones who need to read it, will not read it anyway.
2008-11-09 [NOOOPE]: I'm working on the how to critique page right now. I think it'd be helpful and prevent a lot of drama. We don't need to use it if you still don't like the idea
2008-11-10 [NOOOPE]: How to Critique
Art critiques are actually very complicated. There's an entire artistic language... books dedicated to how you look at art. People who haven't been to art school, or who haven't studied art criticism somewhere else in their lives really do need some little baby pointers, at least.
I also think a page dedicated to collecting art resources might be cool. I can imagine we'll be telling people over and over what human proportions are, so it'd be nice to have some quick easy links.
2008-11-10 [Chimes]: Like the Photo reference marathon, for example? :P
2008-11-10 [NOOOPE]: http://www.pos
That'd be good, but there are tons of off elftown things that really rock
2008-11-10 [Chimes]: That is very true.
2008-11-13 [NOOOPE]: Can I edit the page a little? Pwease? Add the wiki for finished art, the one for quick references and the crit guide?
2008-11-14 [Hedda]: But we don't have any finished art yet. And I really think that we should see how this works out before defining how people should do when they help out.
What is the quick references?
2008-11-14 [NOOOPE]: Links to wikis or web sites that have simple tips, like a guide to human proportions, or perspective...
And would it be useful though to have the finished page prepared so we can use it when there's stuff?
2008-11-14 [Hedda]: But the tips should be placed in Elftown Tutorials and Tips. And then we can link to them.
2008-11-14 [Hedda]: You can of course prepare a page, but it's annoying with links to empty pages. It's like calling people for dinner before the hunt is done.
2008-11-15 [jaraden]: m!, this place sounds mint!!!! brilliant idea and i will definately keep an eye on this page, i love helping others, heck, half the time i'm the one who needs help!!!!

2008-11-15 [Nocturnaliss]: ... my bad XD; I think the invite coming from you got me confused. Sorry 'bout that XD;
2008-11-18 [jaraden]: regardless i'm in... would love to help!
2008-11-24 [Lothuriel]: Finally made it here.
2008-11-25 [jaraden]: i know, took me ages to get here too.. but i have terrible sence of direction and i got lost... ended up at old man Wilson's house two miles that a way....

2009-04-21 [Alexi Ice]: I've got a question! What if you are looking to employ an artist to make a peice of cover art (for free...)? Is there a wiki for this or...any of you looking for a job? Preferably for not a lot of money...>>
2009-04-21 [NOOOPE]: I'd make something up for like... 5, 10 or 15 bucks depending on how complicated you wanted it.
2009-04-21 [Alexi Ice]: Hm. The legality of this may come into question, so it might be a bad idea. I might just have to wait.
